Character Dining Experiences at the Magic Kingdom

  Part of the magical Disney experience for the young and old alike is meeting their favourite characters around the parks. However, the character dining experiences combines the thrill of meeting your favourites whilst enjoying a delicious meal.

The character meet and greet dining experiences are always extremely popular, particularly for those who are travelling with young children but this does not mean the experience isn't fantastic for adults too! 

Today we will be breaking down the two Disney dining experiences in the Magic Kingdom and which characters you will get the opportunity to meet at each location.

Cinderella's Royal Table

Cinderella's Royal Table is located inside Cinderella's Castle, the iconic landmark of the Magic Kingdom park. As you pass through the castle gates through to Fantasyland, the entrance to the dining experience is on the right-hand side of the tunnel toward the end.

This character dining experience is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services and will enable you to meet your favourite Disney and Pixar princesses. The star-studded cast list is compiled of Disney's 13 official princesses. They are as follows;

• Cinderella
• Pocahontas
• Aurora
• Mulan
• Merida
• Ariel
• Belle
• Jasmine
• Moana
• Raya
• Tiana
• Rapunzel

Prior to the food service commencing, an address will be made from Cinderella herself to all who visit and she will meet every guest in the restaurant. If you love the Disney princesses and want to enjoy a fantastic dinner surrounded by them, then Cinderella's Royal Table is the experience you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

The Crystal Palace

Much like Cinderella's Royal Table, the Crystal Palace offers a character dining experience for the 3 main meals of the day. However, this location will not feature Disney's princesses but rather the iconic cast of the 'Winnie the Pooh' franchise. Attending a dining experience at the Crystal Palace will give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and occasionally Rabbit!

This experience tends to be more popular with families with young children, but there is no judgement from us or the Disney Cast Members if you are a grown adult and wish to meet this adorable cast! The characters will make their rounds throughout the restaurant so you will have plenty of opportunity to talk with and take pictures with the characters.

The Crystal Palace has been known to change their line-up of characters over time, so Pooh and friends may not be here forever. We recommend getting to the Magic Kingdom and experiencing this for yourself before they are replaced by a new cast list. You won't regret it!
